Tornado warning

As I'm sitting on the couch the national weather service issued a tornado warning in my county. The city sirens have gone off and we are just sitting here like its no big deal. My neighbor just came over and said that the side door is open to go to his basement. Very nice of him. We will be here until we feel unsafe. We could go to the bathroom but it is a little tight. So hope everyone else is doing well. All of you in Fort Wayne are going to flood according to my weather guy, I hope all are safe when it is all said and done. Talk to you soon.

My test was negative!!!

Yea the test was negative. We are saying the other test was a false positive.

Just have to wait until my tyroid scan...keep me in your prayers!!!

More Info!!!

Well I went to see the infectious disease doctor....he thinks I should be retested to make sure it is positive and not just a false positive...I go back on wednesday to get the test read again....keep your prayers going for me.


I go on monday the 20th to get my thyroid scanned because my other blood tests came back that my thyroid is hypoactive. Hopefully i'll just need some meds to get that back in line.

Life's little tests!!!

Well I went to get my physical for school on Friday... I had a TB test done because it is required so I can go out clinically. It came back positive. I had a chest x-ray which came back normal. I still need to see an infectious disease doctor to go on antibiotics for 6-9 months (yuck). The worst part is I have to wean Kenny even faster than I had planned. I'm thinking positive about everything because I not needed the test for school it could be worse. I am considered to have "inactive" TB (not spreadable) but it still is a little scary.

I am asking my moms doctor if she should be tested to make sure that she doesn't have it or get it even though I'm not active. With her health I would rather not take any chances.

What a week!!!

I have been very busy studying for my class. I had a medication test on thursday. I think it went very well...I won't know for sure until tuesday.

Lee has been Kenny's life source. He even rewarded his dad by saying da-da. It has been awesome to here him ask for him or even realize da-da is coming to get him.

Rachele is been a little on the testing side of life. She loves to push my every button. I thank heavenly father I have control over myself and can calm down quickly. You have to love those testing times.

We have been busy!!

Well were do I begin.... Thursday my mom went in the hospital. Her sugar was over 1000...she should have been in a coma...heavenly father must watch over her. I have been out of mind. I have to study for a mid-term. I feel like I'm doing ok in that department, even more so because mom is ok now. She came home and we got some new stuff for her to keep organized.


The kids are getting big and into everything. Kenny is walking along furniture. Not ready for that. He is getting good at keeping is balance. Rachele has gone through her toys and given a bunch of them away to her "best friend". She didn't even cry about it...I was so proud.

Story Update!!!

Well we are all adjusting to me being in school. It isn't to bad yet. Lee is still off for the rest of the summer. Rachele asks everyday if she can go to school yet. Kenny is crawling and getting into everything. He just started crawling last week and already he is pulling up on furniture and walking along the front. I'm not ready for that yet. Next week we are celebrating my nephews graduation. That should be a blast. Just letting everyone know whats going on with the Story Clan.!
