Paragraph 2: We were created in His image. Gender is an important part of this because if we were a spirit daughter or son in heaven then we that on Earth.

Paragraph 3: We worshiped God as our Heavenly Father in the premortal realm and by doing so we accept the calling to receive a mortal body and go to Earth and experience life like our brother Jesus Christ and follow God's plan. So we can work towards perfection and work towards our divine destiny. Which makes us work toward having the eternal family we are promised.

Paragraph 4: We should make she that we procreate and replenish the Earth just like Adam and Eve. In doing so we need to make sure that we are doing this a husband and wife not just as people in relationships. It hurt the world too much when it is not done according to the Lord's plan.

Paragraph 5: Life is so important (no matter who you are). It is essential to the Lord's plan.

Paragraph 6: Husband and wife have the responsibility to love and care for each other and their children. "Children are an heritage of the Lord" Psalm 127:3, we need to to be the example that our children look to. We need to make sure we are doing the right thing for them at all times so that we can make sure that they know the right way to be and the example that they will once be for the next generation.

Paragraph 7: <span class="dominant" style="background: 0px 0px rgb(255, 255, 255); border: 0px; color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: 22px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-transform: uppercase; vertical-align: baseline;">THE FAMILY<span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 22px;"> is ordained of God. Marriage between man and woman is essential to His eternal plan. Children are entitled to birth within the bonds of matrimony, and to be reared by a father and a mother who honor marital vows with complete fidelity. Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded upon the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities. By divine design, fathers are to preside over their families in love and righteousness and are responsible to provide the necessities of life and protection for their families. Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children. In these sacred responsibilities, fathers and mothers are obligated to help one another as equal partners. Disability, death, or other circumstances may necessitate individual adaptation. Extended families should lend support when needed. There isn't a better way to say this. This tells me it is truly a divine proclamation from the Lord to show and teach us to be better.

Paragraph 8: You will be held accountable for your actions. We need to keep the sanctity of marriage and family because if we don't the calamities foretold by prophet both current and of old will come to head.

Paragraph 9: Everyone is responsible to uphold these standards not just church members. We need to make sure that we try to get others to see this so we can live in a world that God wants not the one that people feel needs to be created.

As I reflect on the proclamation given to us I am so glad that we have people on the Earth that can lead us and show us the right way. I still love those who do not follow the plan because they are still people and may one day see the errors of their ways, until then I will continue to pray for them and hope they will come to the side of the Lord. We can all be in his love.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7630942843047142255.post-88801028915395936222016-06-29T21:09:00.005-04:002016-06-29T21:09:54.578-04:00FamilyThis semester we have to do a capstone project...I've been procrastinating as usual. Death, getting hurt and lack of being able to pay bills and provide for family fully. I have personally been through two of these. When my mom died it was very hard. I love her very much. She was our glue for the family. I wasn't sure what was going to happen. As time went on I knew that we would be okay because the Lord has plan. Life is different without mom but all of us will see her again.
Then we have not being able to care for the family. We had hard times when we had some medical issues, we were lucky enough to have the church to help and some family members. We made it through. Again though the plan of the Lord we were okay. No one suffered.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7630942843047142255.post-34188223128597300092016-03-12T20:08:00.001-05:002016-03-12T20:08:53.463-05:00Listening to Learn...This week we had to listen to to a very good talk about listen to learn. Russell M Nelson gave the talk in the April 1991 conference. This was a great talk. I think it hits home because of the pathway program. I listen so I can learn. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to do the program because I already have a degree, why do I need another one? As I prayed and heard the voice it didn't seem to matter that I had a degree, I had to do this. I could not even figure out what course to take. As the weeks got closer to start the classes I knew that family history genealogy was what I needed to study.

I again am listening to learn. I may not know the exact reason why I need to follow that path yet but it will make sense later. I was so happy that I will be able to follow this path no matter what. because the Lord has told me this is it.

So listen to learn, no matter what the voice says it is for a reason.

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7630942843047142255.post-1804133621664900232016-02-27T21:10:00.001-05:002016-02-27T21:10:57.138-05:00Clustering...Clustering is such a great to cross reference the scriptures. I love that I can find them so easily in the footnotes. A few months back we had a conference at our ward and the speaker told us about an App he uses, called LDS scripture citation index. This gives you a good reference to each scripture and even talks given on those scriptures. It has been so helpful when trying to prepare a talk or even share at school this semester.

This week for school we talked about 3 Nephi 12-17. 3 Nephi 13:9-13 stands out to me right now. Starting at verse 9, After this manner therefore pray ye, Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen

This is the same as Matthew 6:9-13, After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

While they aren't exactly the same they are almost the same and when you use the scriptures you can cross reference them easily. I love clustering when you want to figure out where things are and how to show non Mormons.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7630942843047142255.post-2998896883219549642016-02-13T21:48:00.001-05:002016-02-13T21:48:31.243-05:00Things I've learned...Pondering1 Nephi 11:1 For it came to pass after I had desired to know the things that my father had seen, and believing that the Lord was able to make them known unto me, as I sat pondering in mine heart I was caught away in the Spirit of the Lord, yea, into an exceedingly high mountain, which I never had before seen, and upon which had before set my foot.

As you ponder with intent you will get what you desire. However sometimes what we desire is not what we need. When you get the answer of "no" you need to ponder and figure out why the answer was a no or just accept it and the answer to why will come to you. Even at times we get the answer of yes, we still have a lesson to be learned. We must endure the bad to get to the good. We have to understand that we will endure to the end no matter if we have an easy or hard time getting to the end. The scriptures are a great way to help us to see this simple but true lesson.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7630942843047142255.post-92111449118111780292016-01-30T18:05:00.001-05:002016-01-30T18:05:02.851-05:00LearningMy classes have been a good way to reflect on faith. Faith is more than what you follow. Faith is linked to you as a person. Faith is what we need to endure what we are dealt. No matter if it is a simple trial or a hard one. Our faith is what gets us to the end result.

We may not understand why we go through these trials. The hard ones we sometimes go through so we can help someone else get through it. Sometimes we go through it grow as a person. When we have issues with faith it usually a person thing not a Lord thing. We are people in the world instead of of the world. We tend to follow what happens in the world instead of trying to be the light of the world.

Over the last few weeks I have watched a few close friends go through some very hard things. The worst so far is having to watch a young mother prepare to bury her 7 week old son. She has great support from many and is doing well but I know part of her is questioning. I'm questioning why. As the time passes she may get answers, she may not. As her faith is tested i know she has a strong testimony in the Lords work so I'm sure her faith will remain safe. As the outsider looking in I can offer my prayers for her continued comfort and offer any support I can to her and her family.

As my own faith has seen some trials I have been able to get through them with the knowledge that my heavenly father has a plan even if I may not understand why. I just made sure that I kept reading and trying to get a better understanding of the plan of salvation. We all have a plan for us from heavenly father. He supports us, even when we don't follow him. He still keeps us with him. He never gives up on us, so why give up on him.

Just a few thoughts over the last few weeks.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7630942843047142255.post-52657810329959350772016-01-16T18:27:00.000-05:002016-01-16T18:28:28.689-05:00Right back at it...With the start of the semester I'm going to be adding some posts maybe weekly. It all depends on how I decide to do my assignment that week...

This week in our studies we read Alma 30-35. As I studied I figured out what I would teach (talk about in class). I continued to study the block of scriptures and Alma 30 really stuck out to me.

Someone at work had put on the History Channel and it was on an alien show. This lead to the subject of if we are alone in the universe. I managed to change it to a conversation about how things were created.

Someone said can you believe in Christ and not the Devil? The group of us that were there agreed the answer is no. I asked about the fact that several religious groups talk about an anti-Christ...for the most part we agreed that many times in history we could see an anti-Christ. Some disagreed as they have never seen it in their time.

As read more of the chapter, I became enraged (might change that word) that people could really think the word of God is not true. I don't know what could truly cause this thought. I know people who have not lost their faith through so really hard and tragic times. I feel if they could go through their trials and tribulations and mange to keep their faith then what could have been so bad for someone to not have it?

This brings into my thoughts the plan of salvation. God has a plan for all of us. We may not know what that plan is or even understand why we must go through the hard time. We have to endure to the end to understand the full plan that the Lord has for us. We need to keep in mind that the Lord does truly know what we can handle so we need to just work through it.

I look forward to continued growth this semster.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7630942843047142255.post-10697969053616002002015-12-05T21:36:00.001-05:002015-12-05T21:36:26.022-05:00Keeping the Temple CleanIn our lesson this week we read about keeping the Temple pure and clean. In case you don't know the Temple is your body. We need to stay clean in pure. this is in everything we do. Eating, what we do to our body and even what we say. We need to speak without using profanity. I admit I get caught up in the moment and things come out that shouldn't. I always feel bad after. I usually say a prayer to be mindful to not do it again.

The hard part for me is there is a sarcus ear piercing you can get that has proven to help with migraines. I get them bad and was thinking about getting them. However I have not gotten a clear answer if it would be something that would be okay per church standards. It's not totally visible but it is in an odd spot. Not the norm...I so want to be migraine free. I keep praying for the answer. A friend of mine just got it done and I'm waiting to hear how her migraines are in a little bit. I really should do it more. I haven't even looked at my friends blogs in that long. I guess it has been easier to just be on Facebook.

I am in the Pathways program through BYU-Idaho. This has been a great program that has given me great strength in my growth with the gospel. This week instead of teaching someone within my house or talking to people at work about school I have decided to make a blog post.

This week in class we went over several chapters in the Book of Mormon but what stuck out the most was Enos. His soul hungered. What does this mean? To me it is that he was struck with the feeling of he had to make that change so that he could go to to Heaven and be with his family forever. He was forgiven of his sins based off his faith. He did not need to see the Lord or have proof of him he just knew that he would be ok and be able to preach to his people and get things right.

The big thing is he went to the Lord in prayer. This is so powerful. He prayed for a day and night. He knew that his life was not right and had to have this "confession" with the Lord. We all know that the Lord knows and sees all but he knew he needed to make things right. We are taught to go to the Lord in prayer. We start our day with prayer and end our day with prayer. This is important, we need to thank the Lord for the day before us and then we need to welcome the challenges or trials that may have occurred through the day and figure out how we are going to get through them and be thankful that we have the Lord with us to help us get through these things. We don't have to understand everything right away but with time we can get the understanding as to why things are how they are. Answers don't always come fast. Enos was blessed that he was able to get his forgiveness in that short time. Enos made the changes he needed to make to become a great person before the Lord so that he could rejoice in the mortal becoming the immortal when the time is right.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7630942843047142255.post-31070564951948553432015-01-12T10:58:00.001-05:002015-01-12T10:59:37.014-05:00mobile blogger is not my friend todayUnknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7630942843047142255.post-9806982270200928242014-03-01T20:48:00.002-05:002014-03-01T20:48:54.486-05:00I have forgotten my blog...I missed a whole YEAR!!Well my friend Emily updated her blog and linked it to her facebook page...it got me thinking...hey you haven't blogged in forever...well I missed a whole year plus of blogging...that means I missed a year plus of friends updates!!
Lee has been called to be Elders Quorum President...

Stevie has gained her birth weight back and has yet to gain enough to put her in cloth...grrr! She'll grow into them!

Both kids are well into school...Rachele has already forgot a few things and got in trouble...she is learning that she needs to responsible for her stuff. Kenny has lots of friends...some from preschool last year...to include the "bad" kid...I feel kind of bad for the little guy he has yet to have a good day at school...he is always on red...the "bad" kid not Kenny...just want to make sure that was clear.

Me...I'm a feeding machine...we had a rough night last night...upset tummy and the wrong blanket...but mommy got it fixed...still took Stevie some time to fall asleep and stay asleep in her bed but she did it...I'm going to try to make a few more soft blankets...found some fleece in my fabric stash...Strawberry shortcake, duckies, University of Michigan, gonna flannel back them...might post some pictures if I have time to do them...Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7630942843047142255.post-68260511609122241392012-09-07T15:19:00.001-04:002012-09-07T15:19:38.910-04:00Baby note...So Stevie is 9 days old...she is nursing like a champ. I had to order some covers for cloth diapers that will fit her skinny legs...some come in today the rest on saturday. Once those come in I might do a cloth diaper post...then again maybe not.

She had her post discharge appointment on Tuesday...
weight: 6.15 25%
length: 20" 60%
head circumference: 14 60%

Because she hadn't gained her birth weight back and is considered premature being born at 36w6d...we had to go back today for a weight check....7.2 she is getting closer to her birth weight but not there yet so we have to go back next week for another weight check to make sure she is still on track with her weight gain.

Happy 12th honey...here's to many more!!!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7630942843047142255.post-18541285618289738572012-07-01T22:41:00.004-04:002012-07-01T22:41:50.797-04:00Grateful Sunday...Today is fast Sunday...as many of you who read this know...

Lee got up and gave his testimony...this month marks our 9 years of being LDS. This week I'm at the same point I was in my pregnancy with Rachele...as she was due a few week after Stevie is. It seems surreal that I'm in the same condition now as I was then. It's like coming full circled...

I can't go the whole day with out eating being pregnant so half way through RS I pulled my banana out to eat it...I had a few whispers of "she's eating" but as soon as I got up to throw away the peel I heard "oh she can eat what she wants" It's been hard not to eat on fast Sunday at church... but sometimes I have to!!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7630942843047142255.post-51885210784647746322012-06-27T23:22:00.000-04:002012-06-27T23:22:21.398-04:00Baby Stevie...She is good and still a she...lol

Stevie is weighing in at 2 pounds 9 ounces...which is average...so I guess I just have a big belly...lol

I posted pictures on facebook...I'll have to see if I can get them on here somehow...maybe a seperate post from my phone...Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7630942843047142255.post-30164491983689947152012-06-25T14:20:00.001-04:002012-06-25T14:20:27.924-04:00Almost a year...It took almost a year and I have fully unpacked my bathroom and organized it...

Lee has had his stuff done since about a week after moving in...

Now when I post bump pictures it won't be as cluttered...

I go for a growth ultrasound on Wednesday because baby is measuring big...I also get to go to rehab so I can hopefully get some relief in my hips...

or so it seems...

So I've missed a bit...

I think I'm caught up!!!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7630942843047142255.post-7723543269789146922012-06-12T20:38:00.001-04:002012-06-12T20:38:27.378-04:00Baby quakes...So over the past few weeks I've been having baby quakes...wish I had a window in my stomach to exactly what she is doing!!!

It's very cute!!!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7630942843047142255.post-51156873751219477192012-06-08T21:59:00.002-04:002012-06-08T21:59:36.695-04:00My stash...I decided to go through my fabric to see what I had of my own to feed my diaper addiction...well I found 3 totes of fleece and flannel...plus a box with the same stuff...and some Birdseye cloth for flat diapers...really? How did I get all that fabric...oh yeah I'm addicted to deals too!!

On the down side I found some fabric that was hit by the basement flood that has been "growing" since last March...yes last March (2011)...not super nasty just smelly...

Maybe when I'm on vacation at the end of the month I'll post some pictures of my creations...
Who knows maybe it could be a side job...Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7630942843047142255.post-75014848249425434022012-06-08T15:52:00.000-04:002012-06-08T15:52:59.063-04:00The addiction continues...So I found another group on FB for cloth diapers...so while looking over the site I found another brand to try...well on the site they are all about $10 each I thought why not look them up direct. So I did and they are way cheaper. So I bought a pack...I have got to stop. Tonight sometime I'm going through my fabric and see what I have to make wipes and inserts. I even have a few people interested in wipes if I make them...bonus!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7630942843047142255.post-49779029115360853492012-06-04T11:52:00.000-04:002012-06-04T11:52:03.815-04:00Oh the diaper addiction...So as I posted yesterday I found some diapers (cloth) online...well on the diaper group I joined someone post the fuzzibunz seconds factory link...I won't add it in case someone else has an addiction...you'll have to search it out yourself..lol...well I couldn't help it I bought a 10 pack of seconds...I hear so much about them and figure if we don't like them I can sell or trade them on the group. So for those who have the need to get cloth diapers...fuzzibunz has a seconds group/factory...go for it. IF you dare!!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7630942843047142255.post-14768841280118641652012-06-03T11:26:00.000-04:002012-06-03T11:26:35.759-04:00MIA...I have been MIA lately...

Not sure who noticed.

Baby:
I feel good. Baby moving a lot. We got a bunch a baby stuff from a friend...for only 150 bucks. The only big thing we need now is the travel system (car seat stroller combo). I have a coworker that wants to give me a second had swing and that will finish off the big things.

I have been diaper shopping...got some from eBay...to try that I'm not sure where they are made but are being shipped from Clinton township Michigan...so at least a local dealer...lol. I bought some prefolds from a diaper group I'm on...I still have to get some new covers...girly ones...but I'm going to check out my local store for those. I have checked a few that they carry online but I would like see them in person and maybe then get them. Plus they are local why pay for shipping?

Recent:
I woke up today feeling sick...ended up getting sick so now I'm at home with 2 kids because Lee had ward council today. Plus he has correlation with the missionaries after church. It's going to be a long day. On top of all that I have a baby shower that I'm supposed to be at today after church...not sure if I'll make it. If nothing else I'll have Lee drop off the gift.

I have not heard if my leave for my dad was approved. At this rate I think I need to fill out my papers for maternity leave now...of course my sister just got hers back...so maybe I'm just worrying for nothing.

School is almost done here. Rachele will be done on the 13th and Kenny's last day was on the 31st of May. She is counting down the days...as am I because on days I'm off I hate hearing the alarm for the kids...even though I usually get up not long after they do I would really like to sleep in and wake up naturally.

Lee had some skin tags removed from him. Minor procedure but he still has some pain and bleeding.Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1
