Fun with family
We went to see some of Lee's cousin's. The little blonde boy is Brady. He is one month older than Kenny. I just had to post these pictures...they had so much fun.
Kenny's one year checkup!
Well all is good with the little guy. He has a bit of a cold but his ears are clear so unless he spikes a fever the cold should be over in a week.
He is in the 90th percentile for height, the 75th for his weight. His doctor walked explaining to her student doctor following that Lee is very tall and Kenny's jump in height is of no concern... she then explains to us that thats what she was telling him. So with that I will tell you he is 31 1/2 inches tall and 24 lbs 6 oz. He jumped in height by 4 inches. I thought he was getting longer because his pants are fitting better in the legs.
Happy blogging!!!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY KENNY!!!
Kenny had a wonderful first birthday. He got lots of gifts and is busy enjoying them all. I can't believe he is a year old already. Time has gone by so fast. I had to wash his white shirt twice to get all of the chocolate out of it. That is an old family tradition to give the birthday child their own chocolate cake and dress them in white. I guess so its easier to get clean....bleach. I hope all is good with everyone in blog land and everyone has a very Merry Christmas. I have to get my son because he is now climbing from the chair to the table. The milestones they hit.

Sad news!!!
Not a huge deal but one of our beloved pets has passed away. He has been in our family for 11 1/2 years. It was kinda a shock he was getting old but he was still full of life in some since but he was starting to have trouble with his legs, but we really didn't expect him to go like this we thought we would have to take him to the vet and put him done not find him.
Rachele is dealing with it well. She says that great-grandma is watching him along with Chy-Chy (the dogs sister) she passed a little over a year ago when her legs went out completly and we had to put her down.
Anyways on a better note one last final to take and no school for 20 days.
Merry Christmas!!

December!!!!
Well here it is days away from my birthday and I am looking forward to it...such a change from last year when I was prego and not wanting to turn 30. But any how it's December and I am asking myself what have I gotten done this year???? I can't seem to nail any life changing things down. Kenny has reached many milestones in this very short year but I seem to have just gone along for the ride. I will be so happy in August when school is over and I can fully enjoy my family again. I have been feeling very negectful to them lately...but they don't seem to mind the love it when I come home...I love it too, their smiling faces and relief on Lee's face that I'm home to help.
Finals are almost here and I have a 20 day break between semesters. However I have to knit my sister a hat and scarf before Christmas. The nice thing about it is that's all she wants and she knows thats what she is getting. I do get to surprise her with the color scheme though. I also get to do my dads x-mas shopping in that time frame. At least if I do it everybody gets the same amount of money spent on them, not like in years past when my sister would buy and her family would make out and everyone got the shaft.... I know its the tought that counts but hey when its not your money you should listen to what your told on the amount spent on everyone. Okay I'm off my soap box on gifts.
I hope that everyone is well and enjoy's the season.
