Now that I can see!!!

I have had a killer headache since Monday. I could not see. I set up appointments to see the doctor and he referred me to get some further testing...MRI and eye check up. Well I set those up and still had issues. Lee went to pick up my doctors notes for work and school and the doctor said I needed to go to the ER so off we went. They did the migraine protcol on me and sure enough the headache went away.....and my vision is clear. I did start to feel pressure this moring when I got up so I took the meds they sent me home with and I feel okay.

We did find a house. We move in next week. So I'll keep you all posted.

I have a friend that has been diagnosed with suffering from ocular migraines. He doesn't get headaches but it does affect his vision. He gets tunnel vision and his peripheral vision is all wavy and blurry. The way he best describes it is if you bring your hands in front of your face with fingers from opposite hands pointing toward each other. You separate your hands by maybe 3-4 inches so you can see what is directly in front of you, then you begin wiggling your fingers.

Imagine what it must be like for him when he is driving down the freeway at 75 MPH, or he is sitting at his computer at work typing. He says that if a spell strikes at such a time he just pulls his car over to the side of the road or takes an extended work break.

Luckily, these ocular migraines only strike him once every few months or so, and typically only last 30 minutes.

Strangely, he normally has 20/15 vision.
